Joseph De Luccia

Joseph De Luccia was born in the Bronx in 1924. He attended grade school in Paterson, New Jersey. De Luccia was drafted into the 8th Air Force in February 1943 when he was 18 years old. During World War II, De Luccia served as a Radio Operator and Gunner on a B-17 Bomber. He was stationed state side and then served in England from June to October of 1944. De Luccia was on 32 bombing missions over Germany.

De Luccia received several decorations for his service.
