Richard Seyller served in the Army as Private First Class, 2nd Battalion, 254th Infantry Regiment from 1941 to 1946. During his service, he earned a Bronze Star Medal for his heroic service.
Seyller was an "Intelligence Observer" during World War II and drove supply trucks into new territories and reported back to leadership of observations of enemy locations and movements.
